Thing 20: Presentations 2.0

Ooh la la!  I enjoyed investigating this site.  So much to learn, and time to save!  I found multiple presentations that I downloaded to use at a future date. (Can we say meeting topic? Or meeting prayer?) I appreciated that the site was set up similar to YouTube because it made it easier to navigate.  I did embed a presentation;however, it just went into the blog site rather than into this particular post.  I think in the future, I will just copy and paste it into the HTML to be sure I know where it ends up. :)  I had some trouble with the site also. They kept asking me to re-log in but perhaps it's just a fluke.

Out of curiosity, I uploaded a PowerPoint I created last year.  I wanted to see how the whole privacy aspect worked.  You choose the file but then before it's actually published it asks you your privacy preference (Private - your eyes only, Private - your followers, or Public- everyone), just in case you were wondering too.

I do want to learn more about connecting the PPs with the Podcasting.  I did notice the site doesn't have too many videocasts currently, but I'm sure that will change soon.

  1. I have not uploaded my own PPT to SlideShare yet. It sounds like it was pretty easy. This is a great way for us to share PPT with parents.
