13: YouTube

YouTube professionally?  I was trying to think how this could be useful in my life, right now.  I looked in "channels" but education didn't seem helpful.  It was geared to colleges.  Then when I searched just education grammar I got some interesting results. I think this tool is most useful when you have a specific idea in mind; otherwise I find it overwhelming.  For example one item I've been wanting to learn more about to hopefully integrate more into our classrooms is Brain Gym.  When I searched this term I found many videos that will be useful, from explanation for the benefits to examples of the exercise.  See below.

I personally prefer Teachertube to Youtube for professional uses because it is so much more focused!  (I did, however, have much more difficulty trying to embed the video below into my blog.)

This video I found truly summed up why EVERY educator should be participating in 23 Things.  Watch  it, you'll be inspired!

I also have included one of my personal favorite silly videos I seen in the past. I'm sure many of you have seen it but I still get a kick of it every time.
