Whoa! This one is soooooo very cool! I watched the video which gave me some understanding as to how they are set up but definitely not enough for me to create my own. But I did enjoy perusing the shared ones.
I got a couple ideas for the classroom from BigHugeLabs. I think the Mosaic Maker would be cool to make a class pictures or project (like Invention Convention) composite. The Magazine Cover would be an interactive and creative get-to-know-you project at the beginning of the year. Trading cards could be a blast with any subject you're studying especially historical people.
So I thought I'd be an overachiever and try to find a new Mashup. I visited http://www.programmableweb.com/mashups to review. As of today, there were over 4,600 listed. I liked how this site would break the type of Mashup into categories so you could search more easily. Maps seem to be a highly popular topic.
Another site I stumbled upon, which I loved, was http://www.k12handhelds.com/mashups/ . This is a teacher sharing loads of technology for the classroom, from TeacherTube to how how technology can be used in a World Language classroom.
Another mashup resourse, http://mashupawards.com/winners/ looked promising. It awards winners every day and you can easily search a catagory to fit your needs.
It'll be interesting to see how this tool will continue to take off! Geography teachers are all set though. ;)

You found and listed three very interesting sites. I added one to My Delicious page and one to my Google Reader.
